Why We Started

Matthew 5:14–16 talks about being a light for others to see, and not hiding that light away. That idea has taken on new meaning for our family since one determined toddler talked us into putting lights up on our house years ago.

Christmas was already a big deal for us. Light shows, neighborhood walk-throughs, more nights than we'd like to admit just driving around looking at decorated houses. So when our oldest daughter decided our house needed lights too, we didn't stand a chance. We put them up ourselves, added more the next year, and more the year after that. What started as something for our kids became something we genuinely loved doing.

Eventually, that tradition grew into Be The Light GA.

It's still a family affair. Our kids help with prep and often join us door to door meeting new clients, so if you've talked with us, chances are you've met them. Mom handles the behind-the-scenes work, including the appreciation gifts we give our customers each season. We want our kids to see faith lived out in the everyday things, including how we treat the people we work with.

Today, we get to help other families create the same Christmas magic that started all of this for ours. It all began with one little girl asking her dad to put some lights on the house.
